I agree----I did not mention above-----I did not want that poster to think I was really crazy but at that time with 949 eggs incubating in 5 incubators-- I had over 500 chicks in brooders, got to over a 1000 in 25+ brooders---LOL---That Man Is CRAZY!!!

I take it as a warning of just how far things can go...!
My land is jammed full of chickens and bantams and now I have two day old geese in the dining room...and I still can't stop ha ha!
Where on earth do you put 1000 chickens though? Or do you sell them on?

I sold over 6000 in 2015, a few 1000 since, but I have never been filled to the max--I just built a 6000sqft pen and has a coop a few weeks ago. You never seen my pens----only got a pic of some of them but this is about 1/2 of them.

Day 24 or 25 I would candled see if there is any movement unless the eggs start to stink before then-----then I would deal with that first.
