I miss having birds in the house. I had to rehome my conures (2 pineapple green cheeks) last year when I was unable to take care of them after my throat surgery. James tried, but he's just not home enough to work with inside parrots enough for socialization purposes. I miss them, but I know the lady who has them loves them to pieces. I've considered pigeons, but have already decided to wait until I get the craft room re-done and I'm going to make a half room cage set-up for two pairs of pigeons. I haven't decided what kind yet... but modenas are in the running. James just thinks they look funny but he's on board with any bird that doesn't make machine gun noises or drop bombs or fires missiles at 2 am. I told him all of that was his fault after he decided to watch a war movie with the parrots...

Hi I'm sorry to barge in on everyone here i just need to find a answer too my question i have been on websites for a hour now trying to fins a answer and havent found one!! I bought some ducklings today from attwoods and chicks its been years since i bought ducks and i forgot too buy duck food ok and yes i am blonde
anyway i for some dumb reason was thinking i could put them all together for one night until i can see tomorrow too get the brooder ready for all the babies and i accidentally fed them medicated chick feed when i realized what i done i jerked them out of the box and they are in a box by themselves, but i do not know if they ate enough too hurt them, and i do not know what to give them until the store is open in the AM i have scratch out with the big chickens can they eat that until tomorrow? and do you think they are going too die now because of the medicated feed?

They won't starve between tonight and tomorrow morning. Make sure they have plenty of water and go to the store when it opens in the morning. Keep an eye on them since they've had access to the medicated feed, what's done is done but don't make it worse (i.e. don't put them back in with the medicated food, which we already know you weren't gonna do).

lol lol its hard too breathe when u are a momma isnt it??? lol lol ok thank u so much for your recomendations i just wish that when u are at the store they say did u have the chick feed did u forget the duck feed?? lol then a light bulb or maybe a bell might have rang in my head duh!!! yes i did forget and thank u for reminding me!! i was too busy thinking i have a hour drive with kiddos back home and i have too stop and drop off husbands lunch at work and remember too pick up milk for the kids and get home and feed cows n horses before it gets so dark i cant see while doing so!!! my mind is hundred different places at once!! so a little friend at the register would be nice once in awhile lol!!
oh and thank u kassaundra i do have some hard boiled eggs left over from a picnic today i boiled too many eggs for angel eggs

Morning Everyone
I was laughing myself and then of course that song got stuck in my head...lol
I'm sitting here editing my final paper in my research class, and I busted out with that song at the top of my lungs. My daughter is looking at me like I'm INSANE, and James is giving me the hateful funky eyeball (because he knows earworms are contagious).
All. Your. Fault. LOL
