I was laughing myself and then of course that song got stuck in my head...lol

I'm sitting here editing my final paper in my research class, and I busted out with that song at the top of my lungs. My daughter is looking at me like I'm INSANE, and James is giving me the hateful funky eyeball (because he knows earworms are contagious).

All. Your. Fault. LOL

Since they cannot fly very well I think these would be good house pets...not I REALLY want some!!

I think they'd make great house pets. I've got 2 Ringneck Doves who I just recently put out in the covered chicken pen but Normally they live inside and are out of their cage in their room most all day. Ya know I could just make a big cage for inside and do the smae with the Modenas, I'm considering that now that you brought it up lol! Each set of birds could be out 1/2 the day in that room and then in their own cages at night. It'd sure be nice not to stress over them being outside.

What kind of sounds do they make? Are they very friendly? Hard to take care of? What kind of set-up would I need to take care of them? Also, what kind of feed do they need?

I spy with my little eye, something that begins with O ......

Any guesses?

Again it looks like my garage has become the feeding station for at least one opossum. It was spotted this evening on the back patio so I went looking for it. Found it in the garage eating cat food. It's not full grown and is picture shy, otherwise I would have posted its mug here for all to see. Wanted dead or alive. (Preferably the latter.) I wonder if this is the culprit who got the two Wyandotte chicks a week or so ago.

It's getting in through the pet door. Too bad the shotgun is so loud. It'd probably take a whole box of bb's to kill the darn thing.

Nice looking pigeons Ksane! Glad to see someone get the pigeon bug! You might as well just make them a pen big enough for you to walk in as you will be spending a lot of time checking them out. And also mkae it big enough for several pairs! PigeonsThere is a big variety of Modena colors so you will surely want more.
like company and they are like potato chips, you can't stop at just one pair!

Made it back home a few minutes ago. Those 13 hour road trips aren't as munch fun as they used to be. Got the MIL delivered to the SIL. Sending up prayers that she survives their good intentions.

Got home to Thunder storms and tornado warnings! Been a busy weekend so I am looking forward to some quiet time with my critters tomorrow.

Sounds like Michael did great at the auction. Hope he had a great day at the swap reselling. I would love to do the buyer/seller thing like he does some day. My problem would be I would not want to resell anything!lol Sure wished I lived close to him. I'd be his most avid customer or annoying friend!lol
