Dehydrator is full of okra and squash, still have tons more to put in. I am trying something new w/ the okra, seasoning it same as before but also dusting w/ cornmeal, figure years of southern know how can't be all wrong!

BarnSwallow, that's awesome:) Be proud.

My $6 Oscar fish got a 250 g tank. I'm one of those people who gets truly attached to 'pets' which includes my Oscars since they act like puppies. The animal doesn't have to be important or expensive, just mine. I just want them to be happy and healthy. I don't get attached to ALL animals like some people, not even most of them. I sure did my Oscars though. And the baby chicks I hatched

It's good to see other people have big tanks too...we thought we were the only crazies around. We have a 125 full of brackish, monos, scats, etc. We have a 2.5 in the kitchen with knight gobies and because of the drought this summer, DW "rescued" a bunch of sunfish that was in our creek...they live in a 55 gal in the bedroom....

Speaking of brackish, anyone know where there is a good fish store? The one's that are in Tulsa stink when it comes to brackish fish...their idea is puffers only, lol. We did find that Southern Ag off 71st carries some, sometimes; but is pretty limited.

Sorry to get off topic, LOVE CHICKENS! lol

We did run out to the Jarvis' today and buy an A frame off them.

edited because meant to "preview" instead of "submit"...had a couple of corrections

BFrancis, Steve's Wet Pets in Norman has brackish. If I could find a brackish fish as personable as Oscars I'd have loved to have some brackish tanks. I've got 2 125 g tanks each with an Oscar in it, then I have 2 Oscars in the 250 g tank, a Golfish and 4 DoJos in a 150 g (lol I believe in understocking haha!). Oh, and a Red Eared Slider in a 100 g tank. I do have some crayfish in a 30 g, they're so fascinating. Glad to see another fish person!!

Well hi! I registered here at the insistence of a BYC friend in Broken Arrow. Should have done this months ago!

Hi Flea! Glad to see you made it to the forum finally:) I have learned plenty from here, and I got all my lovely chickens from fellow BYCers:)
