Thanks for the answer on the OE... our little crele hen has tried so hard to have chicks..she is the broodiest hen we have, and has failed at her own clutches. We've even put some of her eggs in the bator before with no luck...so we're pretty stoked about these two. We have put LF eggs under her before..and she's hatched those out no prob. Right now she's sitting again..on 6 of her own eggs. We'll see what happens in a couple weeks

That is sad.... Are they just not fertile?

Well, thats what we thought..one of the two (roo or hen) were missing something....but now that two eggs have hatched, maybe the pair was just too young, going through the motions with nothing happening before. The pair are really nice looking birds too.

and two of my dogs are providing comic relief. Sasha was sitting on the chair all nice and comfy, but Tucker (my doxie) wanted to be in the chair so he started barking like something was outside, and kept at it until Sasha "bought" it and went running out of the chair and room to "check things out". I know this was a deliberate action b/c Tucker never left the room to help her he made a bee line straight for the chair, and got all comfy. So when Sasha was satisfied there was no problem she came back to find her chair full of Tucker,
