***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Took Lucy to the vet. Looks like it was just a nasty flareup of her arthritis so got an increased dose of her medicine. She seems to be doing ok for the most part, and is a really happy dog normally so we're relieved that it's just something a pill can fix. She's a good dog, we'd like to keep her around as long as we can (as long as it doesn't mean she's in pain or suffering and it can't be fixed).

Glad the poch is okay! It's hard to loose a family pet.

morning Okies. Not enough rain here. Sure hope we are blessed with more.

Loved the pictures lately!

Wish you the best of luck... here is to hoping it is just some arthritis flaring up with the cool damp weather.

Thanks for the compliment! I used a ridge board and attached rafters 2x6, 5-12 pitch. The design was a result of my own creativity. You only live right down the road...you're more than welcome to come over and check it out for ideas if you like. (and visit 'Ol Blue, too)

I'm swamped this week, but maybe next week I can take you up on the visit. I need to take advantage of the recent rain and get a couple dozen T-posts into the ground to enlarge the goat area. If I wait, the ground will turn back into concrete.

Glad to hear Lucy is going to be okay.

Also took one of our dogs to the vet this morning...Gracie is an Australian Sheperd and had a warty growth removed about 5 years ago on her front leg. She had another little lump pop up and another that opened when playing with Red Saturday. They are in the same area as her last surgery. Taking no chances. The vet kept her for surgery and I'll pick her up tomorrow. Love our vet. Red is curled up at my feet right now....already misses her.

Thanks for the answer on the OE... our little crele hen has tried so hard to have chicks..she is the broodiest hen we have, and has failed at her own clutches. We've even put some of her eggs in the bator before with no luck...so we're pretty stoked about these two. We have put LF eggs under her before..and she's hatched those out no prob. Right now she's sitting again..on 6 of her own eggs. We'll see what happens in a couple weeks
