just got back from a feed run, was going to buy scratch till i saw the price, sunflower seed is worse..
what is a good alternative? they like the red seeds, is that millet? got some netting for the top of the banty run, seems my cochins have wings and know how to use em!
they are small, but sure can get some lift going- and another pic of my silkie from coral...

When we lived in San diego we had memberships to the zoo. i would always go and sit in the Hummingbird aviary. it was set up so that the Hummies would fly right up close. The zoo's plant collection is actually worth more than all the animals. There is an amazing and huge orchid greenhouse that is only open to the public once or twice a month. When U.S. Customs confinscates smuggled plants they give them to the zoo.
