Good morning folks! I am headed to Ada this morning and was wondering if anyone knows someone on the way from Mounds who may have some large egg laying hens for sale? I still need to find a home for one of my BCM roosters if somebody knows anybody.

It's still too dark to work outside without a flashlight, so I'm inside slacking. I fed the goats and let the cats out of the shop.

Just walked the dogs and even the chickens aren't up yet...so I'm

Had another extra large egg with the same ring pattern on it as the huge egg earlier this week...not as big but larger than usual. This one would hatch.....hmmmm.

morning guys- a bit nippy out there.... second cup should wake me up- then off to get the critters fed and all- gonna try to get Spice the BO that had sour crop out today, she has started growling at me and giving me a pretty good stink eye....

Good morning, woke up by my DS. I could of really used the sleep.

I had the strangest dream last night (jus t remembered it)! I dreamt that I found an ostrich size blue egg in the coop. I decided to crack it open. When it opened, inside was a human jaw bone with a bunch of decomp, a dead midsize duck and then of all things a living baby chick! What the heck? Maybe it has something to do with watching too much news. They reported a dog bringing a shoe to its owner with someones foot still in it. The dog had been playing in an east Tulsa retention pond. The police found a body in one of the two vehicles they found in the pond. I assume the shoe belonged to that body. Makes me want to never again swim in anything but a crystal clear pool.

I feel better now...lol

What are your plans to keep water from freezing?

I hope to work outside some later today but I can't do much more until it stays colder.

I need to work my SS hen in with my others......
