Wish I would of gotten the rain gauge! I am so thankful for the rain!

Hope everyone is safe, they are showing twisters somewhere on the news yesterday.

I can't balance a feed bucket and an umbrella in this wind! Yuck! I'm in to dry off and wait for the rain to slow down. Maybe by eight I can go feed the rest of my birds. Our yard is flooded. I'm estimating three inches of water by the front porch and maybe two inches in the side and back yards. DH worked until midnight yesterday so he's not expected at work until this afternoon. I hope he's able to leave when he needs to. The last time it rained like this we had water over the roads in all four directions.

I am not complaining at all, we need the rain but wow did it come hard & fast! Got a cold front coming this afternoon so it will be chilly to boot!

POCO hope the road are clear for your DH.

Maribeth, good to see you, miss your wisdome.

The dogs didn't want to go out this morning. I left them in their crates, where they were happily curled up and giving me the stinkeye for suggesting "out". James can let them out when he gets up... he didn't work last night so he should be up in a couple hours. He works tonight though.
