No! I'm sorry! My phone went through the washing machine a few wks ago and hasn't worked since. I keep meaning to put my sim card into another AT&T phone and keep forgetting.
What did I miss?

I have washed my phone more times than I want to think about. Last time was 2 weeks ago!

Mine like to go "Diving" I have lost so many to Dr. Pepper, coffee, water, buckets of water, and the last one when bathing the dogs. I am real bad about putting it in my short pocket for easy access when we are washing birds. They dive out of my pocket and land in teh water.. sometimes they keep working though.

I have saved a couple that have breifly taken a dip - in a box of rice or, in the Summer, put all the parts in the back window of the car when it is in the sun.
When they have gone thru the full wash cycle they have never survived, even if they went thbru the dryer after. Do I have insurance on them? - you betcha.

i am sitting here with the little serama in my lap - he had a bath(adams), ivomec'd, and spent the day in his cage by the window trying to figure things out- i see why folks fall for these guys.... he is chittering and making the funniest sounds

i killed my phone last winter, forgot and left it outside in the rain- had only had it a month- so bought another like it on ebay for $30...sheesh

i sure killed the thread......

Hi Robin - I bet a lot of folks are having supper. I'm happy to hear you got your new birds. I don't have any in the house, so your "on my lap" comment makes me smile. I know a few of my new silkies would love to be inside watching TV instead of eying the cats sleeping on the square bales in the barn. They have a lamp for warmth, and they have deep litter to stay comfy, but it's not nearly as nice as a lap to sit on. DH would send me to the barn if I suggested I bring any of the birds inside.

Have been doing a complete bedding change every time one gets sick/dies. Today I managed to actually catch one getting sick, all the others have just literally gotten sick & died while I was either asleep or at work. This morning the chick was kind of unsteady on it's feet, but still eating & drinking. We dosed with molasses water & vitamins (non-iron). When I got off work, it was down. Crop was empty, poo appeared normal. Complete bedding change (again, did one this morning too) and removed the sick chick from the still well one (probably should have done that this morning, but most likely it was already too late

). Dee and I babied it this evening so at least it died after being loved. However this evening it did have watery vomit, no chunks or anything and not discolored... just some watery vomit. Shortly after that, it died.

Sounds like they might be eating the bedding, in the past I have had problems with chicks doing this so at the time I switched to using Alfalfa pellets for bedding so if they ate it it was just more food.

Now all of our chicks are raised on wire.

Evening everyone!

Greatly sorry to hear all the birds being sick. I been through that, it sucks.

So who all is going to Blanchard auction tomorrow night? Count me in. Looking forward to some nachos.

Bringing a friend who is wanting to get chickens this next spring. So I am doing my part to enable him as much as possible.

I am not going to stay up very late today. I am exhausted after this week. It was not an especially difficult week, it just I have not been sleeping well. Think it is the quakes, but am not sure.

Hope to get to see a lot of BYCers at the auction. Have a good night everyone!
