Beautiful girl!! One you will thoroughly enjoy.
My Angel (RIP) was just like your hen. Her muff was just a little lighter. Her eggs were the most gorgeous shade of robin's egg blue! Pour thing was blind since she was one year old. She was a very smart girl living most of her life on the roost with her own water and feed cups. The other birds seemed to know she was no threat to them and took care of her. She raised Popeye for me even though never having brooded a clutch of eggs.

She was lovely Nana. I hope she is collecting bugs and treats in heaven with all the others up there. We ended up naming the boy Orville and the hen Redenbaucker. However it is spelled.
They look like popcorn standing next to each other!

So i thought the show was awesome sad its over and ready for the next one. Anyone know when that will be? I didn't see any dutch bantams for sell but i may of just not noticed them. Think i may just specialize in oegb's though. Saw so many different veriatys that i liked. Fell in love with the blue wheatens. Could kick myself now for not buying a trio

Okay...we jumped in with both feet.... I'm ordering d'Anver eggs from Boggy Bottom Bantams...a half dozen each in Black, Porcelain, Millie Fleur and Ginger...and if he has the BB Red, I'll get 6 of those too.
With the OEGB that will give us 6 pens and plenty of time to get them ready.

My head is spinning with ideas..... I have a lovely 8 x 16 foot metal garden shed that i have used for potting/storage. I can adapt it for feed storage and could run portable pens/tractors in the garden...could save me from having to mow as much also. Got to clean out the shed and reorganize it's contents. And convince hubby that we need to run electricity to it. And.....

How pretty! Love those puffy cheeks, muffs, or whatever they're called.

Did you get her at the show?

I got her from a lady I met at the show. We went to her house the following day and picked up the pair.
I did get some beautiful Partiridge Cochins from Bo Garrett at the show though. I will post pics of those soon.
