Green Country!! We have grass & tree's along with our wind.

I think he would soak up too much moisture and explode if he moved that far East.

How big of school are you looking for. I have connections.

Maribeth, (Poultryandbees) buys feed there sometimes.

Baby Beef here is sweet feed & has molassas in it, not sure that would be a good feed for chickens.

I agree with Sooner! Come to the East side of the state. Here are just a few of the pros:
-more rain
-less wind
-trees
-grass
-one cow to 2 acres of bermuda vs. one cow to 20 acres of buffalo grass
-Braum's
-you already know some Quality people here!

what do you do if a chicken has an ear infection? a friend on facebook is having issue with a silkie that keeps curling her head down, i thought maybe wry neck, but they get vitamins routinely---

Robin & MJ - I need guidance. Am I finished, or do I need to shade the foreground hand more? This is drawing number four.

] I'm going to frame the drawing for my FIL. He made the carving for me, and I want him to know how much I appreciate it, so I thought a drawing of him working on it would be appropriate. DH says stop. Don't ruin another one.

Thanks, Kass - I spent about 10 more minutes shading the foreground hand. Now it's darker than the background hand, which is what I should have done in the first place. Drawing is like writing... sometimes one needs a second pair of eyes. My camera showed me the error. I guess my camera is a mechanical eye of sorts.
