Looks Minorca to me with the white earlobe. Pretty girl!

I would tend to agree, she looks a great deal like a Minorca, keep in Mind teh Minorca was used heavily in the devlopment of teh smaller leghorn.

Elwood, I loved the pictures! That's hilarious about the "underfoot chicken"

I have 6 Sex Links that are the exact same way.
I remember all too well having goats. It's always so much better to look at goat pics and know they belong to someone else.

Thanks Nana, I thought so also after you posted the pic's I had 4 of them she was always a big pet, the others were caught by a dog while out one evening, I turned my back for about 30 minutes and lost 5 hens and all the Roo's tail feathers..

If BYC had a contest for the ugliest coop I'd have to enter my latest creation into it LOL I made a temp coop from 6 pallets and a handfull of old bedding with a tarp over the top to keep them dry, it's warm enough for them and roomy the only real problem is it's only 4 foot high and I can't get in and out of it but the chickens like it LOL

The absent birds are roosting up over the top of me and the coop in the trees wihch makes taking pictures of these at roost an adventure kinda like dodging morter fire only I can't hear the incoming bombs LOL

It looks warm and cozy though! I bet when it's 15 degrees at 2 AM the chickens couldn't care less what you made it out of.
Hey, you did use matching blankets...I'm kind of impressed with that

LOL I have a ton of them I used some to seal holes in other coops and threw a few in with the piggies the female will get covered up and all you can see sticking out is her nose the male has a lot more hair than she does so the cold don't bother him as much

So let me get this straight. You have pigs in a blanket...

Good looking birds everyone! Elwood I envy you your pond! I always wanted one so I could have waterfowl and have them cleanfrom bathing! I have a lady with a pair of American Buffs I am going to keep a check on this spring.

WEnt back into the dwarf rabbit business today. Got a chocolate buck and two black does ,a blue/white doe and a silver trimmed doe. Going to have to come up with more wire cages. Finally had alady contact me who has a mini satin buck. I guess since they are a new recognized breed they are hard to find. This lady lives two hours away and wants $40 for her buck! She just won Southern Cham, pion with one of hers so I guess she has bragging rights to raise her prices way up there. She also has a half blooded -non satin furred -mini satin that she only wants $25 for. It would require keeping a couple of generations to get the full satin fur back ,but she says he has the excellent type that I need to breed with my doe to get it right. Any rabbit peeps out there which way would you go?
