***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Ksane - Barnevelder come in double laced and partridge. Both are very pretty. I have seen some project birds in blue, but they didn't have the distinctive double lacing. The partridge are a little lighter on their heads and breasts, and the feathers are single laced. I had both in the past, but my favorite is the double laced, so that's all I'm raising now.
It was the partridge we saw at the auction. The double laced is really gorgeous!

Handsome animals - birds and cat
Thank you! The cat's name is Salem. He loves to be petted, but not held and he is a big grouch towards the other cats. LOL

Cuban I remember you talking here while back of joining the ABA and purchasing the New standard book. Can you tell me what color bantam Asils they recognize. Thanks
The copy of the ABA standard I have didn't have Asils in it. Last I heard you had to write the ABA to get a copy because it had been made "inactive"

well, my new cockerel got a bath, look at his face... like 'was this really necessary?"

Stink eye, big time.

Dragon needs a bath, but it was too nasty of a day.

Quiver has curley toes this evening and was down on one hock.. He's going to get riboflavin. Added RedCell to his water and will get some polyvisol w/o iron tomorrow at the drug store.

I'm going to add vitamins to all the water bowls tomorrow for the flock and will do so 3 days a week for the next two weeks.

okay. i was talking with you but yeah your one skinny chicken is the one i'm talking about. haha... ;) it's all good. I'm not Robert. I am a girl. I have pics of my chickens on my profile on this site. Well mine are average excect I always have one or two that are fat chicken hens. ;) mine are all solid and healthy. Brownie Girl used to be the fat one who hogs food. Now it was Laghkeisha till she dissappeared two weeks ago and never came back. Now there is no food hog... but sorta Bella is trying to be the top female chicken. I have pics of my chickens on Default album with their names.

Cool name's Bella is Macy's fav...

Hey Michael how's it going out there in the west! Hope Macy is doing good getting some outdoor time to do her thing.she sure needs to go into the outdoor hunting field such as tv shows etc when she grows up. Are still finding plenty of birds to market or is it slowing down? Figure people will start hanging on for spring breeding season soon. Wish I was close I have a good looking blue tick hound I'd give ya! Got him in on a trade and don't have room for him.he is eight months old and huge, bloodline has the Tn Vols mascot in it.

LOVE THE PICS how big are your bantam hamburges ? im still on the hunt for good bantam hamburgs i have some golden spangled bantam hamburge pullets that i hatched from dan powell eggs but hatch all pullets what are the odds

Morning everyone.

Robin where did you get the new roo from? How many do you have now?

Morning Sooner, good luck on your busy day! hope it all works out for the good. sebrights YOU MEAN HAMBURGS right ? icelandics cochins

Wow and it will be hard to find a roo to go with them Joe. There are fewer of that color than the silvers! Mine are between my ee bantams and an old English. I like the size but wish tier markings were better. I got them at an auction, there were four pairs,I got the last and cheapest pair but the others were better marked. But I figured since they were all out of the same bunch they should trow some good ones. I think the hen will start laying anytime. Since I don't have anything broody I'll send you some eggs as soon as she does. I'll keep any eye out for a golden roo.have you still got your pigeons?
