***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Thank you! The cat's name is Salem. He loves to be petted, but not held and he is a big grouch towards the other cats. LOL

The copy of the ABA standard I have didn't have Asils in it. Last I heard you had to write the ABA to get a copy because it had been made "inactive"

I guess I will try again. I emailed them and she told me it was in the new standard book. Well back to the ole drawing board. Thanks anyway.

Spent the day in OKC at VA. Left there and went to Carl's place. He is incubating some eggs for me. He has a wonderful place off the beaten path. I appreciate him doing this, it will help me get some early hatches. From there went to Norman to see our son at OU. Stopped at a trading post store and come up with 2 awesome old books. I am always looking for old poultry or other agriculture books of many years ago. I got one titled "Rabbit Raising for Profit" now aint that a hoot.

Sorry couldn't help myself. It was published in 1947, hardback, 356 pages. Not enough pictures to keep my interest I fear. The other book I got because of all the interest that has popped up on here as of late about bee keeping. I figure it was like buying an investment in a gold mine. It is for sale guys.

Title "ABC and XYZ of Bee Culture" From the A I Root Bee Library. Best I can tell it was first published in 1877. This one is 1975 published. 712 pages and it does have lots of pictures.

Okla, I do believe you have solved a mystery for me. Another BYC gave me two roosters. We knew that the one was part phoenix, but didn't know what his other half was. Now that I see your beautiful birds I think perhaps he is half hamburg.

What do you think?

Good Morning! I am so happy it is Friday~ This day can't get over fast enough!

Wayne I think it would be fun to do something like that but with out the press it wouldn't be very easy. I don't think Nana & Papa are up to it these days. I am always looking into something new. LOL.

DD had lots of homework last night so she is glad today is Friday. I think DH got the walls done but I didn't get to go out & look at it. I will today when I get home.

I'm not good at movie trivia, actually I am not good at anything that requires a memory!
