***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Here are a couple of pictures of the bbred/rosecomb X's.
Top is a 2 year old hen, bottem last summer hatch from above hen. Since I am alway Xing for blue red, guess that is why I got the blue red rosecombs from the same hatch.

I'll help you build it, buy a roll of 4' welded wire and the hot wire if you need it.

Okracefan and Ksane - you all are the best! Thank you so much! I sent PMs to both of you.

I laughed so hard at this today. I've got this big 2'x4' padded footstool that Channing was hanging out on while I was formatting my computer today. I've got an FM radio on my phone so I had that propped up by him and we were listing to country music (he loves his tunes, you know). I look over and he's laid out on his side in the sunbeam with his leg stuck out relaxing. He's one of the funniest animals I've ever had.

Why are you throwing the eggs away. I have used wormers and all kind of meds on my chickens and never stop eating eggs. Of course I have a few ailments that doctors have trouble controling

LOL, well it said it could cause trouble in patients with liver conditions. Our 9 year old son is waiting for a liver transplant so we don't take any chances. but from what I read it said to toss them for 12-14 days.

Dang, Cathie, I'd toss them in that case, too! I hope everything goes better than you could've hoped for him.

Thanks he is our miracle boy. They said he wouldn't live to see 2 if he didn't get a new liver. He is 9 and other than alot of liver infections that can take him down for a month or two at a time he is VERY healthy for a child with his condition. Even his transplant team is amazed. He is the power of prayer at work. But yeah we are only getting 3-4 eggs a day at the most right now so I am not worried about tossing those. Most of our girls are young so won't start laying for another month or so. We figure now was as good as time as any to worm. Even the dog gone guineas participated by drinking out of their water bowl I put out for them. I will get some of the paste wormer tomorrow at the feed mill and we will try that next Friday. I work 4 10 hour days and asking poor dh to build coops is as far as I am willing to ask for. I will worm them next Friday for everything else.
