Well if my hubby ever gets here we could meet you there but he is STILL not here, can we say "dog house"? LOL

Okla! the baby pigs! They're adorable!
Retired Army Wife, I couldn't handle 100 baby chicks either. And what's worse I couldn't bear to part with them after putting up with them lol
Fingers crossed for POOPS, Monty! I'd love to go. My offer still stands to help if you need it.
RetriedArmyWife and AllBreeds, I'd help with a chicken train & I promise not to even LOOK at the chicks-cuz I'd get attached in 300 yards and have to chicknap them. But yea-Carl's idea to ship them would be tons cheaper than gas driving them and arranging transport.
Okracefan, I'm so sorry about your truck. Dealing with insurance companies SUCK!
Rebecca, feel better soon. Some kind of crud is really going around this season.
Carl, you get that woman some seeds! How's a proper woman to survive on a lousy 10 lbs of seeds!

For those on the search for chickens. Michaels # (four05) 933- 051eight-- would have sen it pm- but still. And figure out how to pm with this ap! And too lazy to turn on my pc. He should have or be able to find anything you might want.

Micheile - Good to see you again. Let me know if any of the babies you picked turn out to be boys.

I bought some 3/4" EMT (Electric Metallic Tube?) conduit at Lowe's to make a pasture pen. The clerk working the electrical isle argued with me about getting a bender. He said all I need to do is mark the conduit and have my husband hold one end and me the other and then bend the tube over a fence or post or rock or whatever we've got that won't break. I told him I needed to be a bit more precise and had to work without the help of my spouse, and he shook his head like I was making some horrible mistake and told me to go ahead and waste my money. Good thing this guy's not a doctor.

Cass - I've got at least forty eggs going into lockdown tomorrow. This will be the group to caponize; the boys, anyway. If they hatch on time, they will be four weeks old on March 17th. We can set our C date from there.

Coral google DIY pipe bender they are easy enough to fix.

Okracefan-- at least you were ok-- the truck is fixable or replaceable.

My BIL is on the fire dept & has been texting us pics from lots of accidents that he was called to this week-- been some really awful wrecks

I'm back home now.. if half this stuff grows we may be running a "pick your own" fruit and vegetable thing this year.. OMG what did I get roped into.. Carah, you know the seeds I sent for last fall? I already had 2x that amount, and just dropped another $50 at the same place for more packages of seeds in similar quaintities.
Now I hear talk of raised beds in my future.. anyone know of a wooden bridge that needs taken down? it may be easier to that than go buy the lumber to place raised beds everywhere, Oh I'm in for it now..
