Okies,,...I have not been keeping up with the posts (I am 1340 posts behind). How will I ever catch up?

I really miss not being here, but I just couldn't tolerate the slow loading, crazy new format...I need to try again. Maybe it will be better.

DH just called to say he's taking me for a Valentine's dinner at our local Mexican food restaurant. Steak fajitas here I come!

The best way I've found fo me to deal with this new format so far is to go to the newest page and add it to my "favorites." Then if I read it at least twice a day, I only have half a dozen or so pages to read. At the end of each session, I add THAT page tomy "favorites." Still quite cumbersome, but better. I play a hand or two of hearts while I'm waiting for each page to load.

I like the new format and actually find it easier to navigate, it seems to load better for me too.

You have a few options, there is an icon next to the name of teh thread to the left that when you hover your mouse it says "go to first new post", then you also have the option to go your last post, this is found in teh following

go to your last post

So why not just post a quick hello and go back to that point the next time you visit us...

I'm on one of the Linux's right now and for some strange reason the forum is super fast and loads just fine. I don't know why. Downloads for me on Windows 7 are about 60 kB/s and on Linux are about 180 kB/s. Very strange. So maybe it's operating system related? Any Mac users out there? Are the forums fast for you?
