***OKIES in the BYC III ***

This year again we will have the option of two different colors!!! I think they look great! When you are ready to place your order please PM me with T-shirt in the subject line, if you do not receive a reply from me please follow up to make sure I have your order as I will have several lists & this is the only way to insure that you have your shirt.

The shirt will cost 9.00 per shirt for youth small to adult XL, anything over that will be an additional 1.00 per X (for instance XXL will be 10.00)

No money will be needed to order your shirt but please make sure that you will be at the event to get your shirt, I know things happen & if that does please contact me so we can make other arrangements.

Orders are due by the end of the day: April 23th

Do you know if sizes run small or big?

Good morning all, looks like I'm getting blueberries this year after all, so I guess I better start making a place ready (it won't be the place I originally wanted b/c the raspberries are still there). A fellow BYCer and I are trading raspberries for blueberries.

I haven't done blueberries yet. I have been working on grapes.....If I get a good deal I might plant some anyways.

Have you got your garden out yet?

Some is planted been working on runner grass roots mostly, but plan to get most everything planted this week (not sure if I'll make it or not). I plan on holding off on the peppers, okra, malabar spinach, sweet potatoes and sorghum (basically the real heat lovers or cold haters) but hope to get everything else in. I was also working on plans for planted shade for the summer run/garden for the chickens, I sure hope that works.

How about your garden?

Good morning all. Looks like it is going to be a great day weather wise. Thanks for all the well wishes. As some of you already know, getting old sucks. Especially if you went way out of your way to mistreat your body when you were getting there as I did. But friends and fowl make it tolerable. Thanks

What are you planning to use for shade?

I have some stuff in the garden & it appears that most of it faired pretty good with the rain.
Potato's, corn, bush beans, purple hule pea's, sugar pea's, cucumber, squash, onions, lettuce & spinach.

I won't get much time this weekend but I am really tempted to go get one of those really big tomato plants from walmart with tomato's already on it just so I can have some sooner! I haven't picked a date to get mine out but if the weather continues as it is I will get them out soon.
