***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Bill if the cane is really clumping I would love to have some. If it spreads DH will have a fit. He hates bamboo the way Kass hates Bermuda.
It is clumping I planted a 3 foot circle of it around the light pole by the driveway 10 years ago and this is the size it is now I do want to cut it back some and have places to put most of the root sections but will have plenty to share, this isn't the only place I planted it so I have more than enough

For some reason the cane looks a bit washed out in these shots

This is a good pic showing the color and variegation and you can see the shoots coming out of each node or
joint, I am wondering if I can get each one of these offshoots to grow roots if I can I would have a whole hedge
growing on the property line LOL

I would love some clumping bamboo, I won't be at poops, but may be able to ask Sooner to bring some back and I could arrange to pick it up from her, I haven't asked yet, sooooo let me find out if it even possible.

I had some out of state visitors came to see me yesterday I got some good shots of them they didn't seem bothered by me or the flash or the goats that were racing all over the place I wouldn't mind if some decided to nest or hang out I think they are way cool :)

Canadian Geese in the background, In the foreground are my purple water Iris on the left and yellow Iris on the right both just now starting to bloom The only blooms so far are on the left side of each clump there will be a lot more soon, To the right of the yellow is an area of Pickerel Rush and a blue Iris the Lillie's haven't started to bloom and are just now kinda filling in I had over 70% of the pond covered with plants till the ducks started helping groom them the plant coverage helps keep the algae under control and gives the Gambusia a place to hide so they can ambush the mosquito larvae so I can stand to enjoy the yard LOL

Kass, Did I send you some gourd seeds, I know I gave Sooner some and sent some to Coral (I think) and can't remember if or who I packaged some more up for LOL Not saying I'm getting old and forgetful but I do have momentary lapses.. Umm... What was I saying?

No Okla sent me some a couple of weeks ago.
