***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I haven't been on here in a long time and there are way too many pages to even start to try to catch up. I did see that Matt has some really nice looking birds posted. We are in Duncan now and living in town is actually not that bad. Grace is working for the same company I have worked for the last 18 years and loving it.

For those new to the site this is our daughter, Grace. She was the first to graduate from the "People of Oklahoma Poultry School"

Few high school graduates have so many "family members" present at their graduation as Grace did the day she graduated high school while at POOPS.

Prayers for Sherman & your family.

Love the roses, we had a few bushes @ our old house & my favorite one had tangerine colored flowers. When I think of us starting to build our house next spring, I day dream of nice flowers & pretty landscaping. But the reality is I don't want to maintain it.

Getting ready to order my silver appleyards!!!! Torn on ordering some extra ducklings to help fill up the box. But I am using will power & only ordering the appleyards. I love the fact that the money from the peafowl covers the ducks so in reality the ducks are not costing anything & I still have money leftover.

Just order enough silver appleyards to fill the box! You can always take the extra ducks to an auction.

The lady we got them from has Blue Salmon in her flock also (which is how I got my Blue Salmon boy). So you do have a chance of a Blue Salmon. I can't really tell what Blue Salmon girls look like, you have to look clear under their feathers, there's not a lot of difference from the outside. But Blue Salmon boys do look different than Salmon boys once they start feathering in.
hmmm.... interesting- sure had a good hatch on them...we'll see, they are fun to watch- if only mama qould quit attacking me... she was mad all day since i crated her yesterday to take pics of the babies...

Meet Annabelle and Carmen...now that they have bathed, been blow dried and have eatten and sun bathed....the full spa treatment.

Annabelle is the bigger of the two, has a broader head and a yellow leg band. Part of her comb is missing.

Carmen while smaller has a sweeter personality. She has a complete comb.

where did you get these ladies? My wife wants some white Cochins, preferably LF's.

Okay I need some gender guessing experts. Judging by what I thought of the chicks poco posted and what others said they were genderwise I am not very good at it so here are some of the NN chicks what do you guys think genderwise???

This is Ms White, I think he is a roo, but REALLY want to be wrong!
