This one is fuzzy, Any clue what this one will look like? male/ female? I think male, BUT that means nothing. . . lol
I think boy too!
There is no such thing as too many pics (esp. of birds) It is the best way I lerarn about birds and everything.
- charming coop too.

I figured it did, but I won't cook it for the chickens. They weren't impressed w/ the green ones last year so I'm hoping they will respond better to the red. So far the plants have not been as vigorous as the clemson though, but summer is just starting so they may hold their own yet.
Mine don't like it either. It is a shame, beacuse last summer it is about the only thing that grew well.

Sometimes when the sinus cavity gets blocked an eye can swell like that. Then the pus on the inside gets to be hard and the consistancy of cheese and won't come out.The opening for the cavity is in the front of the eye. What I would try is to use a hot compress on the eye to help break up the mass and then gently but firmly try to work it forward and out of the cavity.

There could have been a grain of sand or anything get in and block the opening. Swollen eyes don't always mean there is something respratory going on. Thank goodness.
I had that problem with a couple of birds. The mass can go way back up infront to the eye. I had to carefully use tweezers to pull it out
