It is starting to cool off so I went out to the broody pen. The poor rose comb had 3 shrink wrapped keets. Gave her 4 from the hatcher & the drama began. The silkie hen is screaming & fighting at her through the cage. She wants those keets. The rose comb hasn't taken to them yet. She didn't push them away, but she isn't snuggling with them either. It is warm enough outside that I will give her another hour or wk to see if she takes them.
My darling ducks have been playing in the pool the past 2 hours. They started with crystal clean water. Now its smelly nasty stuff that would prob kill plants in the garden!

I used to keep all sorts of exotic frogs and I used Dr. Henderson at the Britton Rd Vet. It's in OKC, but he is amazing. I know it's weird, but he saved a couple of my frogs and one of my lizards. He was referred to me by several vets that treat reptiles but didn't know what to do with my frogs. I live in Noble now. When the day comes that I get exotics again, I will go back to him. Don't know if that helps at all.

That's who I used to use! I heard he retired, glad to know he didn't. I've had no reason to take my tortoise in and haven't had any other exotics in 6 years. A couple years ago I started talking reptiles with someone and they told me he retired. I'll have to give him a call.

Buster Sound like you did very good. I of $150 for my digital scale that calculates the price per lb.

Oh, these aren't nearly that nice. They aren't digital and are on the older side. But they are exactly what I have been wanting. I like it that the bowl we will put the broilers in comes out for easy cleaning.

And I don't mean to sound selfish, but I'm kinda glad you weren't there. We probably would have been bidding on some of the same stuff.
