I let em set pointed end down for 24 hours and I do hand turn my eggs. The last eggs I bought through the mail were silkies and black copper marans 12 of each, I got 3 marans to hatch but when I cracked the rest of the un hatched eggs the yolks were scrambled like someone in the postal service thought it would be funny to shake the crap out of em, my Araucana are looking the same way when I candle them looks like the yolks are busted.
