***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to BYC but have had chickens for quite a few years. I just wanted to say Hello and get to know my fellow Oakies!

On a side note: kennym99- did you figure out what is going on with your chick?

Have a wonderful day!

No I haven't figured out what it is, it's about 2 months old, and it's the only one, it don't act like a cold it's not sneezing or rattling. It eats and wanders around like a healthy chick so I'm not sure.

sorry all its been a while since i have been on things have been crazy here in chicken land. All me chikies are well and doing great. They continue to love free range time. I am now getting any where from 3 to 6 eggs a day. Im sure once the weather warms back up that will change too. In the summer we added five ducks to our flock. The kids are loving watching them play in there pool. As for the family and i we are also very well. Starting our preps and list for spring garden. Looking so forward to this growing season. Love and best to all.

Mitzi has been MIA for a while. She does respond to PMs, but hasn't been up to posting. Hopefully she comes back soon.
I am so excited about Fridays weather. I know I tucker out quickly, so no big projects-- however it will be awesome to enjoy a warm day.

Oh I know I just saw the forecast and hope to tackle lots of outside projects. You just pull out a lawnchair and direct things from there. You need to slowing get back to things but if you push it you will end up sick.

I didn't get all my raspberries moved, so hopefully I can finish up on Fri. Fridays are such a gamble for me, so we'll see how that goes.

So I got my first batch about a week ago. Get up this morning and the runt of the litter is dead. Kind of sad. She was always chirping and trying to crawl under the other chicks. Just a little sad that I lost one so soon.
