***OKIES in the BYC III ***

I have been enjoying my 2 ducklings that hatched last wk. they are making me think I would like a small breed duck, but I can't think of a small duck that doesn't fly. My mandrians fly & crash into the aviary net all the time. We have had them a yr & they still crash daily.
Nana sounds like you are off to a good start for the garden. Our ground is about ready, biggest thing I am waiting for is DH to run hot wire around the garden. The dogs always think the dirt in the garden is the best & of course the goats enjoy the large selection of green plants to browse.

I just love mandarins. They are soooo pretty. I told my hubby he needs to build me an aviary. This could just be a pipe dream for me though, I am a bit overwhelmed at the moment. But do you ever sell your eggs in the spring?

jcat, I have a cayuga drake, and 18 eggs in the bator hoping for a couple hens for him, they don't fly and have a quiet quack, but they are regular size ducks, I thoroughly enjoy watching my drake play in his little pool, he is a hoot!
