Is there an auction in blanchard this weekend? Saturday. Five pm right? If I want to sell chicks should I be there by Noon?
Trying to figure out what to do for the following hours till they sell. I'm not close enough to go back home for a while.

No Blanchard auction. Suppose to be one in Yukon. Several of us out going to try it out. They had an ad on Craigslist, so you can find info there. It will be my first time going.
Blanchard will give you a number in advance if you let them no you are coming, so you don't have to show up @ noon. Chicks don't sell in order so lot number doesn't matter though.
Newcastle city wide yard sale is this weekend. Think a few other cities have theres too.

I am more convinced then ever that my cat is 1/2 chicken. I was planting peanuts and dug up several grubs, I just put them in the little paper sack I had the peanuts in to keep safe until I could take them to the chickens. After I was finished planting I took the sack inside and set it on the table while I got a drink before going out to the chickens. While I was sitting there drinking my water Bambam found the sack and was fascinated, and sure enough soon enough she fished out one of the grubs took it out played for a minute then ate it, when she was finished she went back to the sack for a few more.

One of the Cochin breeders that posts on the Cochins International Facebook page posted that her cat broke into the brooder and killed ALL of her LF chicks! Glad My cat and birds get along great.

One of the Cochin breeders that posts on the Cochins International Facebook page posted that her cat broke into the brooder and killed ALL of her LF chicks! Glad My cat and birds get along great.

My cats and adult chickens get along great, however I wouldn't trust them w/ chicks!!!!

My Nubian finally kidded!!! Found them at lunch, looking out the window & mom was nursing 2 kids! The one with white is a bucking & other doe. Dad is a red boer.






We only have 1 more doe left to kid. Baby goats sure are cute & so much fun!!!!

MJ - I get parmesan at the commissary most of the time. Also blue & feta cheeses I used to buy at Sprouts are at Sams Club-- much cheaper (half price or greater). I do love Sprouts for produce, best prices & selection usually, plus all GF products are labeled. I will be checking out the new grocery store in Edmond soon.

Right now we have 15 goats, 8 are kids. One doe left to kid, so expecting it to be 17 goats soon!!! Oh my, hope there is goat math! I know we have a weather that I want to rehome soon, Taron insist he is a pet not a dinner. Her emotions make goat farming hard!

we have two weathers we have keep as pets because of my oldest dh. but we told her that was it we are not keeping any more weathers. So know what ya mean. lol. exctp one has bonded to me and he is my buddy now.

poultry and bees thank you very much. i though the dalias were peonies.
i was going to kill that bush and found yestreday accidentally the flower. i just need to investigate the removal and best place to plant it.
