***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Shelbydog, No we haven't butchered for ourselves since the big freezer went out. I refuse to get another EnergyStar appliance since the HP on the motors is reduced. they just don't generate enough energy to keep a large freezer cold enough.

Christina, sounds like the build is going quickly!

Set out squash and sweet pepper plants this morning and then we worked part of the herd, finished at 11:30, we have had lunch and so before the rain moves in, I'm going to set out some eggplant and cucumber plants. (runon sentence but it makes sense)

Everybody cross your finger and toes that we actually get started building the chicken coop today. Got truck full of lumber and siding and concrete.

Got to post one more iris pic for Kass

Love flower pics always, and really love iris and that one is stunning. I have a dark purple that just bloomed but the rain has it looking sad, so hopefully another will bloom after the rain is finished. I've taken some pics of iris I haven't posted yet, keep forgetting to get them off the disk and sized down.

Thanks! :) I am now walking distance from my work.

Once we are fully moved and our farm cleaned up, we will probably use our big trailer for the mobile processing unit. So, we have all the parts, just need to strap it together.
Gotta love it when a plan comes together. We are trying to be as self sufficient as possible while in town too. We have almost 1 acre, so will never be fully, but w/ fruit trees, berry plants, garden, chickens, and meat rabbits hopefully we will get close.
