***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Yeah there is 2 roosts inside in the roof. And 2 outside. And a viewing window the other side so I can check on them without disturbing them :)
I have a screened window I can look through to see who is roosting, but I can't get pictures that way.

If there's another coop building contest on BYC, you should enter : )

The third one is Asian day flower it looks a lot like spiderwort but it trails on the ground and spiderwort is held up on stems two feet or so off the ground. It is a garden flower brought here way back there the spread to the wild and now is a weed. The blooming one - it is all over the place here, nice smell but no idea what the name is. If you are looking for a lilac try the Persian ones I have four with no extra water after their first year they have all done great.

Mine are all still doing great. We just went out of state for a few days for my sisters wedding, I was nervous leaving them alone, but we came back and they are all still alive and well. We will be transitioning the silkies in the coop with the other big girls within the next week or so and I am nervous about that.

I bought some meal worms about a week and a half ago and some have already turned from mealworms to pupa, and then beetles! I was surprised how fast they turned! Everything I read said it would take several months for this to happen. Maybe I just have really good luck?!

That's so awesome! We went to TX for a day and I was freaking out about leaving mine! My worms haven't changed yet but the babies sure do loved them. I kicked everyone out of the brooder because it's so hot here and they kept escaping anyways. They love it outside and are doing great!

Thanks, I am tickled pink that is mulberry!

The white one looks and smells like lilac, but it is wild I can't imagine as hard as it is too keep that alive that it could grow wild!

The white flower is ligustrum. We had it at our old house and yes it smells amazing! We had tons and tons and tons of butterflies on ours, so much so that it appeared the tree was moving.

Privet is in the genus ligustrum. There are around 50 forms of ligustrum. I checked my privet a few minutes ago, and it exactly matches the pictures. We're both saying about the same thing since they're in the same family. Privet, however is the most likely form, as it is "wild" as well as cultivated. It is also the name you would need to use if you were interested in buying some.
