***OKIES in the BYC III ***

We bout them at poops in okla  ----lady like this make me very mad & sad-- A lil girl love chicken becuz i have some so we go poops 2 buy her some this sh*t happing 2 her-- Lady"s like this do not need 2 sale them-- not cool-- Now all her hens can get sick & THE 1"S I BOUT 4 HER R DIED-------------------------------------BUT TY ALOT (OKTX) 4 HELPING ME & HER


The advice was also to go to a vet for diagnosis. Judging by your post on the poops thread you are about to start flaming someone. Be sure you have your facts first.
 
Kassandra, our big roo doesn't seem to have a problem with other roos in the flock mating either. He's really laid back and great with his girls. Even protected the younger roos from the turkeys. That blue flowering weed you have I'm not sure what it's called but we get it all over too. The chickens won't eat it. We pull it and put it in the compost heap.

Mine are all still doing great. We just went out of state for a few days for my sisters wedding, I was nervous leaving them alone, but we came back and they are all still alive and well. We will be transitioning the silkies in the coop with the other big girls within the next week or so and I am nervous about that.

I bought some meal worms about a week and a half ago and some have already turned from mealworms to pupa, and then beetles! I was surprised how fast they turned! Everything I read said it would take several months for this to happen. Maybe I just have really good luck?!
 
Yeah there is 2 roosts inside in the roof. And 2 outside. And a viewing window the other side so I can check on them without disturbing them :)

I think your blooming bush is privet. Are the leaves fairly small and a little waxy or stiff? Several of mine are in bloom now and are very pretty. Privet is often used as a hedge, but when it is allowed to grow naturally, it is quite nice. The third one is tradescantia, or spider wort.
