We have 5 Cochin Roos and only one is allowed to breed he will attack the others if they try. Now our only 2 LF Roos are lavender orps and they share the hens it seems.

those are awesome Kev.
Wow! Really nice hen house! Do you have roosts inside? I'm loving my tractor, and the hens are really happy about having their own space above the nest boxes, just under the roof. They go to bed pretty early now, and they get cranky when I open the door to make sure they are okay. Tonight I had my camera, and the Coronation Sussex hen told me to, "Shut that door! You're letting in a draft!" The white-laced red Cornish hen was sound asleep. Her breathing was light and regular, just like a sleeping baby.
Saturday night my husband and I went to pick up my dream chickens! I am soooo in love! 1 white Silkie hen, 1 yellow Silkie hen, 1 splash Silkie rooster, 1 grey Frizzle chick, 1 white Frizzle hen, and 1 black Frizzle hen! Oh gosh they are are so beautiful and the sweetest things. I figured with relocating they wouldn't lay any eggs right away but sure enough they did![]()
