Banjo joe if I had our incubators up and running I would take some in a heartbeat! Right now I am dependant on broodys lol. And the only ones to go broody so far is one OEGBS and 6 bantam Cochins.

bwahahahaha!! my cats will do that. only my kids will be starting to dig holes, and the cats will snub them out and do their business, then act like nothing happened. needless to say we have to keep a close eye on our kids dirt adventures.

Our little cat discovered a gopher hole as she was walking across the yard, she finished her business, covered the hole, patted the top and continued on her walk. I heard that cat feces will deter gophers. She is a smart little cat and a great hunter.

Ha, ha. I have eight broody Cochins right now. They are hatching their own eggs and my Wheaten Ameraucana's.
