Wow! Robin those are beautiful babies! White is the original color of silkies and tends to pop up unexpectedly from time to time. Foot feathering is one thing that I've worked on and it really shows up these little ones. It is much too early to determine gender. As the crests are coming in, they often look back swept, but it changes as they fill in. I also think they sweep them back somewhat in the feeders and waterers. When they are more mature, the swept back "do" is a bit more accurate guess.
Edited again to confess I misunderstood what chickens bardies was referring to because it came right under Robin's babies.
I think Mio may have all boys, but the third one might be a girl. Can't really see it well enough.
