@NotSuperWoman I was reminded that the hen I can give you is not a Marans, it's a Langshans. I got both Marans and Langshans at the Shawnee show, and I've called the Langshans Marans every time I've referred to them ever since. She's not show quality, but she comes from a very nice show line and you might get some nice birds out of her eggs.

WOOHOO!! It let me log in! only way i could do it all day was with taptalk....

Met Rinda! AWESOME LADY!! she graciously kept this boy for me- and e rode on a blanket on my lap home, now in a cage for quarantine, i think he knows what a camera is, as soon as i brought it out he posed!!





he actually has a quieter crow than my silkies

Thank you Robin for giving him a good home and thank you Rinda for helping with that. I don't think I ever heard him crow! Another, older roo was top roo in his pen so he and his brother were quiet. He does look very happy already.
