BuckGuy, I feel your pain! Sorry you lost those chicks. We also had another attack EARLY this A.M. What we thought was one dog turned out to be a maurading pack of three! I was able to drive them off before they could do any damage to our remaining chickens. But I did call the police and let them know that the next time I called it would be to pick the dogs up - one way or the other... at least they commiserated with our loses and told us we have the right to protect our property.

Got some much needed rain a little bit ago. Not near what we need, but it is welcome none the same. Got 50 some chicks in the brooder, more coming every few days. Guess I am going to have to start building some more pens before long. Lynn was nice to see you for a second.

I feel for you, getting up early will make a man old quick.
