Hi I have a question I had ask before about using pour on Ivomectin wrong spelling on chickens for lice and mites on another thread and was told do not use it I just read on here someone said 1/5 cc so is it safe and does it work and where do you put it Thanks

@mjgigax Don't worry, they are cute...but except for a baby silkie, (and a Rudy) I cant think of anything that is as cute as a baby mini horse! Meanwhile, some new calf pictures to help us wait... This heifer does not have a name yet. She was born on the 6th. This red and white heifer was born on the 5th. Her name is Cinco D Mayo Cowgirl CPL. This solid red heifer was calved on the 4th...she is a Big girl! (but has a big mamma that can handle it) Then there is Spook - the blue calf. he is looking pretty manly already! And, my gold heifer - Target, look at the little horns popping at just over a month old. Then, finally, a bunch of head shots: Spook, of course. The camera had a hard time with exposure. Unnamed month old bull calf with Spook. They're buds. This brown heifer is only two months old. Her name is Moon Pie.

Those are some great pics the little calves have the gentlest look in there eyes

Lost dragon this morning, she was full grown when I got her 5 years ago, so must have been at least 6, since she had been broody before i got her- RIP sweetheart

At least partially, she was my first ever NN (at least for a couple of days) She got me the thinking and researching.

Corrid or Sulmet, from a feed store. They are with the cattle/swine meds. Corid is what I use, it comes powder or liquid. If I remember correctly the right dose is 2 tsp/gal (or 1/2 tsp per quart) of water, changed daily. Give for 5-7 days exclusively (no other water available but medicated). If a chick is so sick it isn't drinking you will have to give it drops manually every few hours until it starts to drink on its own.
