***OKIES in the BYC III ***

It is a little nippy out there today. As I was glassing over the cows and calves in the far pasture this morning I saw a large black cow in the herd. Looks like the one that came over the fence to calve 3 years ago. Boy; was she ever wild. Tore up my corral as we tried to load her. She got away, but my neighbor took the calf home, and a few days later, she showed up outside her calf's pen.

You must have one of those spa type pastures where there is heated and scented water, hot towels, soothing moosac, ice chips and the yummy flavored jello!

I am soo tired of being crippled and incompetent. Gawsh, just turn me loose, already!

The trauma surgeon I spoke with today, during my checkup, said I wont have to have surgery, so yay!!

Instead, I will just be in crutches-- for 2 more weeks!

Did one heck of a job, though. I hit my stupid hip right on the dadgumn curb of the concrete, prolly what bruised the artery so darn bad. >.<

And yet I was picking out particular, steep hill slopes just today that I want to ride my bike down... *slaps own face* Quit with the dumb!

There are just some passions that can not be quelled.

Never thought of it like that, but, yeah, to a cow that's hemmed in an over crowded pasture with nothing to eat, traveling through acres of timber and creeks to find green grass and clean pond water, it would seem like paradise alright.
