ameraucanas are typically pretty gentle and accepting birds, or do you only want bantams?
I only have 1 coop set up right now for bantams. I know chicken math will cause me to expand but I'm not ready to get LF yet so I am limiting myself to bantams

Mmmmm, blue/porcelain... preeetttttyyyyy...
The calf is cute and all but that Showgirl baby ia adorable!!!! I've never seen that color either, I can't wait to see how it feathers out.Cutest chick ever! NN white with stripes and a buff/brown caping along the shoulders. Never seen this kind of color gradation in chicks - but I've not been doing chicks forever or anything. @Ksane this could be a baby from your showgirl roo. Color stinks in the camera.Oh, and the latest calf - isn't she just adorable?! We think we will call her Malasada Cowgirl CPL.

Oh man, that's a cute calf but I can't help but think of all the meat these beautiful cows produce! I eat so much meat (almost no grains at all) so a whole cow is pretty tempting! That chick is super cute tho! Is it a partridge variation? Or can stripes mean other things? I can't wait to see pictures as it feathers out more. I may need an NN. Needs probably the wrong word!Quote:
OMG moocow is totally stinking adorable!!! That's why I can't raise beef; I would never be able to let them go to slaughter.
How old is he? I have no rooster experience and I'm curious; did you raise him from a chick? Do most roosters do this at some point? Love the bubble bath and pink towel!
