Frustrating day, all itchy and swollen from poison ivy, I decided not to do any outside work and work on some mending / altering I have been putting off. A little 20 minute project escalated to 3 hours, 2 times having to take apart the sewing machine to try and figure out what it was screwing up on. Finally got it all finished and .................................... it doesn't fit!!!!!!

My broody hen isn't broody anymore, but now she has trouble walking and staying balanced. There are no apparent leg injuries. I looked at her feet, but don't know if they are swollen. She's moving around some, albeit clumsily. I put some antibiotics in their water. BTW, how long can I leave water w/ antibiotics in it out?

You all with Poison ivy-use Zanfel! You can get it at Walmart now, it's expensive ($40) but that stuff is magic!! I used to get poison ivy so bad i'd have to go on prednisone. I've been miserable so many times in my life with that stuff. Now when i break out (and believe me-I can tell a posion ivy itch from any other itch in the world) I immediately use Zanfel. The itching is gone in less than a minute and I can literally watch the rash fade with my bare eyes. The 1st time i used it I almost cried in relief. I don't care what they charge-I'll never be without that stuff.
