***OKIES in the BYC III ***

How super adorable is that?!?!?! I wouldn't expect the blue eggs to be a CL. There's a remote chance, but it's more likely an EE. Mine are growing into really pretty birds due to the babydaddy SFH flowering. I just had a pretty amazing surprise last night. I'll switch to my phone to load the photo, but I gathered eggs last night and was pretty floored by the colors. I thought my eggs were blue until I saw what I just got, and I have no idea who laid it, because it wasn't my CL. The green eggs are new, too, but I have an idea who laid those.

I really wish my phone took better color, because this doesn't even compare to the real color of this blue egg. This thing was sky blue. I'm boggled as to which one laid it.

And I can't say I'm unhappy with these greens at all. My girls lay gemstones for me! :D

Killed a possum this morning just a few steps from the chicken house. Chickens didn't stray from the house at all today. Told John I need to learn to use the 22, I can use a shotgun, but I think it was stolen a few years back, I did get nine eggs and that surprised me. I was missing a hen last night and our Lil Harry has been barking the last couple of nights so will pay attention to him. He also barks and watches TV all the time to.
