Nana- that is so neat! Love stories like that, you just get to know their personalities and know who will work with who....

Les and Betsy- when i had my hips replaced i was in a wheelchair for 6 months, drove me crazy... i get bored so easy!

Poco- glad you are safe! fires are scary! and as dry as things are, all of us are on edge

You are in luck I have had special training in egg rescue and in retraining egg eaters.
I'd would be glad to take those ornery egg eatin birds off of your hands.

I have a pair of young phoenix that kept eating their eggs. I started feeding them boiled eggs, and they stopped. I dunno if
they were craving eggs, or it was just incidental to the time I started feeding boiled eggs, but they stopped.

Might try that, if I ever get eggs again! This heat is terrible & my games don't lay much in summer.

Morning early birds. Boy you have to be an early bird now to beat the heat!
Got to fix a broody box up,haven't had any broody lights for several weeks( well maybe two weeks!lol) but have a couple of serama babys that need a little extra tlc.Thye show up fast because of their stance. Little wings straight down and little butts stuck up in the air!lol.
Iget my truck out of the garage today! Whoop EE! Only $2000 ,darn that could have bought a lot of chickens. Oh well at least now I can go pick up those freebies on craigslist again!lol. Got three new female g.pigs yesterday free,and they delivered them!
