Nice veggies Kass. We have the cukes and yellow pear tomatoes but our squash is gone. Wondering if I could plant sweet corn again and have it make before frost since its supposed to be late this year. Also can you still plant squashes and get a harvest? I pulled all my corn up and that vacant spot is bugging me to do something with it!lol. But I think I'll wait till later. Its 104 on the deck right nowwith about 85% humidity!
 
I figure roughly 80-90 days until a frost (usually one that a sheet or two will protect most plants) then several more weeks after that of good growing weather, so I think here anyway anything less then 80-90 days is still okay.
 
Here's an ad you might check out..I bought some little roos from him earlier this year, but the heat got them shortly after I bought them...He has a really clean set up in his back yard....nice birds too. I mentioned one of his outside coop building a while back.

I lost a very good friend this week,he had the only business left in Earlsboro a small gro & feed store ,he bought the store in1949 and was still running it every day untill his health failed a few months back at age 86 . we have a good group there ever sat morning for feed ,coffee and solve all the world problems,its kinda astep back in time like the 1940s ,CJARVIS i think you know the place youve probably been there
