Doing my best. I'm REALLY glad we put a new propane vent less type heater in the bathroom. And The stove has the canning pot on it set on low, but keeps that end of the house warm. The garage has another wood stove and I wish I could link the pics of the snow next to the 75,000 BTU diesel heater that blew in the garage last night.
Oh and I try to cut my own wood but had 2 rick delivered Sat before all this.

Funny that I had to take the "ICE" chest into the garage next to the 75k btu heater to keep the beer from freezing the other day. Then I just put the new case on the floor and had to move it closer to the heater to not have a slushi or freeze and break beer.

I sure try to be at least a little prepared.
I built a feeder steer/bull a little shelter today. Thinking if it's so cold I don't want to do it that's is probably why I should hurry the he!! up and do it.

Good 'cold' morning to all. -3 this morn and only about 4" of snow.

We have -5 and about 6-8” snow. We have a leghorn cock that definitely got some frostbite on his comb and wattles. He was a beautiful cock. I hope he still is after this. The coop has a heat lamp but he froze up while out running around. The strange thing is that his near identical twin brother seems to have no frostbite. He must have stayed inside more.

We are southwest of Norman about an hour. So the southwest part of the state.

Might put some Vaseline on his comb to help protect from the chill.

We were -6 this morning and have 8 inches of snow in Meeker...central.
