Had to post a picture of sailor on here. I posted him on the NN thread, but thought some of you guys might like him too. Bought a grab bag (box) of 12 NN chicks at Blanchard a couple weeks ago. Turned them in the brood house with all my chicks. I noticed this guy right off. Named him sailor because his comb puts me in mind of a sailors cap. I dont know what type comb you would call this, but it is neat.

Good to see everyone up and at-em this morning! I got out and did a little weedeating and pen cleaning this morning. But its already getting hot! Need to go out and make chikens a salad and pick a couple of tomatoes.

I know what you people talking about rabbits and beans mean. They got mine last year and my neighbors this year. Their cute but darn they can be destructive.

PoCo will you be able to do your milking and classees too. Don't overload yourself. I think thats what keeps most people from rasing them,that and the fact that you are tied to them every day . But if you can manage the rewards will be great! The best part is "baby goats" in the spring! Nothing is cuter!

Nan what kind of projects you got going that you are needing tinhorns put in? Sorry yes I'm nosey!lol
