Sorry about that it seems the preditors and illnesses seem to know which ones are the favorites or most costly!

What are the symptoms of botulism, can a chicken survive it ?

I hate it when stuff like that happens & you can't figure it out. I'm sure Jared wasn't happy. What does that leave him with?

X3 on the doctor!

Night Cowboy!

I have a possum in the live trap now, he got several juvies two nights ago & got a pass last night but I got him tonight.

The chocolat lab pup I posted pics of that needed a home, no longer is homeless. I posted his pic on my FB page and my cousin and family fell in love w/ the pics. They just moved from a condo (no pets allowed) to a house and have been wanting to get a dog, so the timing was pretty perfect, they want him enough that they are flying him to CT where they live.

I have had chicks survive it before. This is the first grown chicken I have had that I thought might have it. They can't walk or even stand and usually don't want to eat. The others I had seemed alert and didn't act sick but didn't have any control of their legs.
Not sure how he could have got other than maybe some feed got moldy. He was in a pen by himself.
Les could give you a better idea of all the symptoms.

Glad you found a good home for him!!!

He will sit in that trap until my DS gets out of bed in the morning to take care of him for me. That is the best thing about a son! They will take care of that stuff for me. I killed a rather large black snake a few days ago that had been feasting on my eggs. My DD played with it for 20 minutes before we tossed it. I tell ya my kids aren't normal sometimes. LOL.
