Kass,Whew, that's a lot of seeds! They sure have a neat catalog tho don't they? I'm tryingto decide what to sow in my garden,thought about turnips but we don't like them,thought about mixed greens but we don't like them!lol so worrying about maybe some wheat to feed the g. Pigs! Lynn mentioned the other day he was getting ready to plant pumpkins,is it to late for them? Will they be able to pro due before frost I wonder?

Jcatblum that's a neat looking medallion! A thunderbird maybe? It looks to be gold is it? Pretty non the less!

Havney, Are you sure you got a trio? The first and third pics are both roos I am thinking!Second pic is a hen/pullet for sure. Very pretty birds!

Kass i was going to tell you check out the forums on gardenweb.com they have a whole forum just for winter sowing, but I see you already posted there! I usually would spend close to $100 on seeds when I lived in town -- would always wait for the half off sale @ gurneys. So I can understand how you could do $200 when ordering heirlooms.

The pendant medallion thing I found is silver & turquoise, as most native American jewelry is around here. I believe it to be real silver since the age on it is minor, considering it has spent yrs burried in the sand. I rinsed it off, but it is still encrusted with sand in all the cracks. Imagine I could take it in for scrap, took 6 old rings & a charm this spring that were gold & got $200. Kids usually split all the scrap money for the junk we dig up around here. Serves as good encouragement to clean the yard. They should have another trailer full to take this week. Starting to think we almost got all the piles of junk gone & then I walk past another! Hope the kids make out good this time, they found (well mom found) a bunch of copper wire & plumbing. Oldest one caught on real quick copper is where the money is. Any wire she sees she will try to strip it.

i forgot- banties only count as half....! WHEW! That makes me feel better!!
