When is a good time for you? Is this weekend too late? Do you have other chickens for sale also? Should I bring lots of cages? lol I'm pretty much limited to evenings and weekends unless that won't work for you. Let me know.

I am not sure what you are in the market for, but I have a pair of spangled oegb I would let you pick up that would be about right for showing this fall. The hen is from last year, and I hatched the cockerel this year.

How much are you asking for them?

evening guys- looks like we lost another hen to a predator, unknown, so i guess any time out at all isn't an option, even with the dogs running-

and my other silkie has decided she wants chicks of her own.... not sure what to put under her, was thinking of some of the large fowl eggs or maybe get some orp eggs... did find where the guineas are laying, right in the old garden patch, so i can watch and see how they do...and alot easier to protect her- so steph, how much are you charging for the cochins?

Evening P&B,Robin and Jarvis! You all are up late or is it me!lol. I didn't get awhole lot done today. pulled a few weeds this morning then came in and did the ironing and washed a few clothes. Needed something to keep me busy while sitting around in the evenings so I cut out a new quilt top, blocks. Its called "The Chisolm Trail". I have been watching a few old westers and since its so dry out west I thouight it was fitting! Its done in dark brown, light tan print and green print.

PoCo maybe the new goat would make a good friend for your milkers. I always liked pgymys. Have had a bunch of them. They sure have some small ones at the sales around here. They are like mini pgymys! I may have to get some of those to take back to the farm.

I see that you are looking for eggs or chicks. Will this be your initial introduction to poultry or do you already have some birds?

Disclaimer: This group excels in assisting others in the location of just about any kind of poultry. Therefore, you may receive lots of help in locating birds once you ask. How many birds do you have housing for at this time? Some of us prefer to acquire now and figure out housing tomorrow.

Thanks, Carl, for the gorgeous Cochin baby! Are these guys just tame by nature?? I love her! There'll never be a more special breed to me.

I've called neighbors, the police, the county animal control folks, and so far I've had no luck finding the owner of the visiting goat. I'm adding a photo to the Craig's List ad in a few minutes. She's a friendly little thing, so I'm thinking there's an owner out there somewhere missing her.
