Just read a good article on canning chicken. Anyone on here ever do any of that, if so how did it turn out. I am thinking about giving this a try, just bought 50 cornish rock chicks, and thought it would be a new way to store some.

My grandmother canned everything. And I usually make canned turkey noodle soup after Thanksgiving dinner in the canner. Works fine.​

Hi Michael hows your day going. I may be mistaken but isnt Newcastle the 3rd. 6th wouild be on a tuesday. If you are at Marys this weekend and see some more of those big red NN hens call me and let me know how much they are (please). We got rain here this morning, cloudy most of the day, not a bad day. Hope tomorrow is the same, but wife said supposed to be hot and sunny tomorrow.

Doesnt Tulsa have a flea market also. Not saying that it could possible be as good as Mary's

But I heard they had one there also.

Blanchard is southwest of OKC a little ways.

Doesnt Tulsa have a flea market also. Not saying that it could possible be as good as Mary's

But I heard they had one there also.​

Tulsa has several flea mkts, but nothing specific for poultry/livestock. And even if there were poultry, I really don't know if those would be sellers anyone could trust? I have seen poultry at flea mkts though

That Michael fellar that sales at Marys in OKC is pretty trustworthy kind of guy, as are some of the others that sale there. There is a guy that makes leather stuff, sales a few guns, collectables, chickens stuff etc that sets up there once in awhile from over around Waynoka, if he is there, you can believe anything he tells you sometimes.
