Talk with DD some more about showing she wants to know if she can show her guineas. I know we will have LOTS of nice colored birds to pick from. My question is does anyone know if there is much opportunity for her to show guineas? Would the chances be few & far between?

Oh i sure wish i could do that for you but since i have to keep this brace on my leg and keep it elevated as it has a wound vac pump keeping the infection out . the main thing in getting drawed to hunt the base is what weekend it is and how the weather is . for the most part it seems the deer on the base start to rut sooner than the deer outside the base..so if you got drawed about the middle and the weather is good the deer should be moving good.

Take care of that leg. How long before you can be up and at em?
We are there the last weekend which is mid November. We just haven't much luck hunting in the area (Boggy) we are in. We did much better hunting in the northwest part (Hominy) .
