***OKIES in the BYC III ***

Just ate a bowl of frozen blueberries, temporary relief for my raw throat.
DH is going to the auction without me. More of his co-workers have discovered how delicious fresh eggs are.

Everything is covered with a layer of ice tonight. I put extra bedding in the coops when I got home. The hens made happy noises, so they must have been anticipating a cold night. Speaking of cold, I had to warm my hands a few times so the goats would stop milk-stand dancing.

One of the barn cats followed me into the standard Cornish house. She disappeared into a nest box, and I had a hard time getting her out. I guess the nest boxes in that coop are warmer than the shelves in the barn where the cats usually sleep.

Kass - Glad to hear you were on duty and not on a gurney. I saw a poster recently that said something like: If that poop belongs to your dog, put it in the trash can. Next to the anti-littering slogan, someone drew a large dog inside a trash can.

Poco our cats have discovered that the feed house is warmer and they can literally catch a free meal in there so they have decided that is a better spot than the back patio. They are sharing it with a BO roo and they all seem content lol.
